This afternoon there were 2 adult winter Little Gulls easily seen from Diamond Point Rd. They were flying around feeding over the extensive flats that were covered in gulls. Also present were 5 Tundra Swans and several Tree Swallows with one Barn Swallow. The pair of Red-necked Grebes were off northwest side of the Millers Island road peninsula. I saw them from 6th and Hinton. North Point State Park was loaded with Song Sparrows, at least 15 in each of 4 flocks, plus one flock of 30+. Oddly enough other sparrows were scarce with 1 each of Field, Swamp, and Fox. Fort Howard was nice with 3 Long-tailed Ducks, 45 Horned Grebes, and a Red-throated Loon.
