Osprey have been in the area this year but definitely have not settled onto our platform. Today, that silly Goose laid her first egg up there (the egg is visible from our dining room. She is so proud! The Gander has been circling in the water below the platform when ever she is up there. I suppose he is proud too. I wonder what "our" Osprey will do when they arrive. In recent years "our" Osprey have tended to be late arrivals. Nest starts were April 9th in 2001 and April 12th in 2002.
