    Returning from doing a program in Salisbury I made a few stops in = Wicomico, Dorchester, and Talbot Counties on Tuesday.  Highlights:

Red-throated Loon - 1 in non-breeding plumage at Roaring Point, Wicomico =

Common Loon - 4 at Roaring Point
Great Egret - 2 at Waterview, Wicomico
Snowy Egret - 4 at Waterview
Baldpate - 5 at Salisbury and 7 at Hurlock
Shoveler - 37 at Hurlock
Pintail - 15 at Pickering Creek Sanctuary, Talbot
Green-winged Teal - 40 at Pickering Creek
Canvasback - 40 at Nanticoke
Ring-necked Duck - 3 at Hurlock
Greater Scaup - 4 at Nanticoke and 4 at Roaring Point
Lesser Scaup - hundreds on the lower Nanticoke River
Bufflehead - numerous on the lower Nanticoke
Goldeneye - numerous on the lower Nanticoke
Red-breasted Merganser - 4 at Tyaskin
Ruddy Duck - 157 at Hurlock
Greater Yellowlegs - 1 at Pickering Creek
Lesser Yellowlegs - 2 at Salisbury and 1 at Wetipquin
Snipe - 1 at Pickering Creek
Laughing Gull - 45 at Salisbury, 200 near Brookview, 100 at Hurlock Ring-billed Gull - 1500 near Brookview, 600 at Hurlock Flicker - one flock of 31 at Nanticoke River WMA, Wicomico Horned Lark - 3 at Nanticoke River WMA Tree Swallow - 1 at Pickering Creek Brown Thrasher - 1 at Tyaskin Pine Warbler - singing in many places Fox Sparrow - 1 singing at Roaring Point Park Common Grackle - one flock of at least 500 at Nanticoke River WMA

    I also made a brief stop at the Ridgely sewage ponds.  Both ponds = are full and the only birds present were four Canada Geese.
