MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Ken and I walked around Centennial Lake today and garnered a few interesting sightings. The male Northern Pintail is still there -- we didn't see his mate, but the male was near one of the small islands in the WMA and the female could have been on the other side it. The female Common Merganser that Kurt reported a few days ago was still there. (We didn't any Horned Mergs, though.) There were also 4 Pied-billed Grebes and 2 Ring-necked Ducks. We also saw a flock of 8-10 Golden-crowned Kinglets (it's hard to count birds that hop around as much as they do!) in the woods near the bridge below the Wood Duck Pond.
