I'm glad I did -- there was a nice variety of waterfowl there. Fortunately she was patient enough to stop each time I spotted something that wasn't a Canada, a Mallard or a Ring-bill so I could check out what it was! Pied-billed Grebes - 3 Canvasback - 1 male Ring-necked Duck - 2 males Hooded Merganser - 2 females, 1 male Ruddy Duck - 1 male The Ruddy and the Canvasback were hanging out together. I suppose they were separated from their flocks and figured any company was better than none at all!
