At the nest over the neighbor's yard as usual. Same arrival date as last year, when two pair built nests in opposite branches on the same tree, only to abandon them probably due to unfavorable crayfishing conditions, water levels too high in that record-breaking rainy spring. We'll see how they do this year. If they're here, someone should check Sligo Creek in D.C. and other sites known to have them last year; some of them may be there awaiting discovery.
