The numbers of Double-crested Cormorants have continued to increase - 44 adults and 1 immature now (19 on 3/26, 10 on 3/20). Fish Crows have been roosting in the evening lately in trees near Liberty Lake, in the area of the watershed near "Folly Farms". Saw about 45 come in today; about 25 came in yesterday evening. Other interesting birds seen at Liberty Lake today: Common Loon - 2 breeding adults Wood Duck - 1 male Green-winged Teal - 2 males Long-tailed Duck - 1 winter male Common Merganser - 34 males/females COLO, DCCO, LTDU, and COME were seen in Carroll County or both counties; the rest were only in Baltimore County.
