Today, 9 gulls species, 2200+ gannets In-Reply-To: <20040327010702.30224.qmail@web20807.mail.yahoo.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi all, Not many birders shows up for gannet galore. I heard about rain in central Maryland. Just a couple of drizzle here. Started at 7am and end at 430pm. Most highlight of the day was 9 different gulls. Both 1st winter Little Gull and Black-headed Gull few minutes apart with over 300 Bonies flying back and forth before headed N around 11am. Several Laughing Gulls headed N early am. 1 1st winter Lesser Black-backed Gull first seen by Zach around 2pm. An nice pale adult Glaucous Gull flew over the beach after 3pm headed N and seen well by me and 2 Pennsylvania birders. 2 Razorbill seen first by Zach and I only saw one. I don't think Norm S. and Bob R. saw it. Full list to come up early tomorrow morning as I'm working to add up gannet numbers. Excellent day for gannets, not a good hour between 11am and 12pm with 52 birds. Kevin Graff Jarrettsville & Ocean City, MD ocean_city2001@yahoo.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
