I'll keep you posted on the hike. Likely to be very informal, just birders exploring and if anyone wants to 'lead' on birds, great - I'm only a moderately skilled and primarily with song. I'd lead on habitat...prirarily forest interior with boulderfields, talus (some old growth), cliffs, xeric / mesic oak and bluff communities. Maybe stop at the Potomac bottomlands where I'd expect bird compostion to differ from the uplands. I'm trying to make this an MOS hike, but haven't heard back from the potential organizer.
