J. Fletcher, Roberta B. Fletcher, Marvin W. Hewitt, Alicia O'C. Knotts, and A. May Thompson. It was a 22-page pamphlet which included an annotated list of the birds then known for Caroline County plus three maps showing good birding areas. Perhaps not coincidentally it has a yellow cover. It was written by Irving Hampe and Haven Kolb and published in 1947 by the Natural History Society of Maryland. Is this the mysterious "Maryland Avifauna Number 1"? If not, can someone give me a citation for that publication? ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
