After observing several Sanderlings in flight around the beach, still not a same bird. I have seen Sanderlings almost every month at Ocean City Inlet for years and knows what they looks like. It was less than 1/4 mile out, I have a good eye for long distance birds as i did while hawkwatch in my backyard in the past.
