  Dear birders,

  	I am in need of some information regarding Greater Scaup in the
local (Montgomery County, MD) area.  I am interested in participating in a
greater scaup conservation study sponsored by the University of CT.  Does
anyone know of nearby sites where one would be likely to find greater
scaup? 
	The only information I have regarding the Montgomery County area is from
the MOS Field List of the Birds of Maryland which shows that greater scaup
appear in Montgomery County regularly, but not every year.  If anyone
could provide me with more specific information regarding their appearance
(especially location), it would help make the study more productive and I
would be most grateful.
