Subject: Pacific Loon and other Sus-Q goodies Date: Fri, 14 Nov 1997 16:33:10 -0800 From: Raven <raven@paonline.com> To: pabirds@ark.ship.edu Hello all, I saw the Pacific Loon yesterday, the 13th, about 1 mile south of Peach Bottom.....and today I looked as well but had no luck...the conditions though were far from optimal. I did however have 2 good birds today, the 14th, on the mighty Susquehanna. First, on the Conojohela Flats I saw a red phalarope..and second, at Holtwood Dam, I observed a Basic adult Common black-headed Gull. Also at Holtwood was a first winter Iceland Gull.
