Joe, there may indeed be comparable locations further south (Kiptopeke, for example, on the Virginia Eastern Shore), but what would be missing would be all those world-class birders running down the rarities! The Cape May hotline is posted to BIRDEAST, the mailing list for Eastern birding hotlines. There are some birding web sites that pick up the weekly postings. I think Jack Siler's site does and a few others, so I see no reason to re-post it here. If you want I'll try to run down some web addresses for you or you can go browse around the MOS State Web Site to see if the weblinks section will point you to someplace that makes the CMBO Hotline transcript available: http://www2.ari.net/saunderf/mos/mos.html Oh, did you notice our re-scheduling of the Great Chili Birdathon from February to January 17? I hope this date will still be convenient for you! Cheers, Norm =============== Norm Saunders Colesville, MD osprey@ari.net
