This morning (Wednesday, Dec. 10th) I found the Ross's Goose and one other white goose in the corn field behind the pond on Reservoir Rd west of Beaverdam Reservoir. There were at least 500 Canada's feeding with them in the rain. Poor light, steady rain and the flock's distance from the road made it hard to tell if the second white goose was a Snow Goose or the hybrid found and identified by David Abbott. I'll return tomorrow and report back. -- David Gersten gerstens@erols.com Herndon, VA
