We made another attempt to find the Ross's Goose in Loudoun County. Tuesday
morning the farm pond on Reservoir Road was frozen, and there were no birds.

At the Beaverdam we saw Common Merg, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered Hawk, Ring-
billed Gulls, and one Canada Goose. We had a few song birds and Canada Goose
at Brambleton Regional Park. The park is on route 772 south of Beaverdam.
left onto 772. The park is open when the weather is suitable for golf. The
club house has a snack bar and restrooms.

VA Records Committee
There are 5 documented records of N Shrike in the Piedmont so write-ups would
not be circulated. However, there are no Piedmont records for Ross's Goose,
and we would appreciate any documentation that anyone could supply.
