Dear MDOsprey -- I may be able to get to the CBBT the end of next week to look for the Black-tailed Gull. I recently got Grant's 2nd edition of "Gulls" which, unfortunately, does not cover the B-t Gull. I do not (yet) have the Harrison seabird book that Matt O'D has mentioned, but have a friend whose copy I can look at. Any suggestions for other reference books that cover the B-t Gull and the other gulls that the Grant book does not include? Is the B-t Gull at CBBT an adult or immature? How regularly is it being found? Are the chances of finding it better at any particular time of day? peterrobins@hotmail.com Peter Robinson Hanover, York County, PA ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
