Subject: Eared Grebe @ PLSP
Patty Craig just called me and said that she observed and photographed
an Eared Grebe from 2-3 PM today (2/9/98) in the Potomac River at
Point Lookout State Park in St. Mary's County, Maryland. The bird was
in close to shore, almost at the Point, by the lighthouse, near the
wooden pilings there.
Afternoon light is not good on the River side, unfortunately.
Morning
viewing would be best.
