Norm,

Comments ARE desired, at least by me. The day I saw this bird I stated that I
would not check it off on my life list until a decision was rendered by the
MD/DC Records Committee. After thinking about it, and even before the Ring-
billed controversy came to light, I came to the decision that even if accepted
by the committee, I may not check it off because of my personal doubts. That
in no way means I disrespect the decision of the MD Records Committee, it just
means that my life list is mine and not the MD Records Committee's.

Anyway, I vote to keep the comments and opinions coming and let the feathers
fall where they may.
