Fran,

On places to ee Baltimore Orioles around Baltimore:

If you include good places to see them in migration, which might also be
breeding sits, besides Lake Roland, Oregon Ridge Park, north of Towson
is usually quite good, and I suspect they breed there, too. Cylburn
Arboretum in the city is good, and I'm sure other birders could say
whether they breed there. The lower end of Patapsco St Pk by I-95 is
good, although I haven't been there for a while. Another good area is
along the bike trail at Phoenix, which is about 8-10 miles north of
Towson, and generally throughout Gunpowder St Pk which runs from
Prettyboy Dam down to the bay.

If you mean definite breeding sites, I have one one near me: the south
end of Powell's Run Rd., which runs between Liberty and Marriottsville
Rd about a mile east of Liberty Lake. Is that "metro" enough, or did you
really mean the city. (It IS Balto Co.) I've seen them at the nest there
for several years. Ironically, I don't think too many actually breed
around Baltimore. They seem a lot thicker in Carroll Co and across the
Penna line. However, I don't bird too much in the city or east of it.

Those are a few places that quickly jump to mind. Hope it helps.
