Folks:

As I was out for my walk at lunch, I heard 2 YELLOW-THROATED WARBLERS
singing in loblolly pines in two different sections of Jefferson
Patterson Park in Calvert County, MD. Two days ago, on another walk, I
thought I heard CHIPPING SPARROWS but convinced myself they were just
juncos. Well, today I saw one (chippy) singing. There was also a
mockingbird that did an excellent rendition of the wood thrush call (you
know that kind of chuckkkk sound). It took me a minute to conjure that
one up from the recesses of my memory.
