Highlights of the Carroll County Bird Club's field trip to Point Lookout State Park on March 28 were: Lots of Horned Grebes, gannets, Oldsquaw, Buffleheads, and Pine Warblers, 1 Double-crested Cormorant, 16 Bonaparte's Gulls, 2 phoebes, 1 Purple Martin, several Tree Swallows, 2 gnatcatchers, 1 catbird, 1 Brown Thrasher, and 1 Chipping Sparrow.
