Yesterday Barry went up to Back River STP in late morning, on a flooding tide.
There has been a great increase in Bonaparte's Gulls since the last report,
about 1500 were present either at the Treatment Plant itself or loafing
on the river above the bridge (where some mud flats are exposed at low tide).

Amongst the Boneys was one adult LITTLE GULL in winter plumage, seen well
both in flight and at rest. There was no sign of the Lesser BBG seen last
WEdnesday.
