Hey Osprerians: When we`re not on the chase, a lot of us try to
landscape our homes with the birds in mind, so I thought I`d share a few
places with you, the first especially, that must be seen.
KOLLARS NURSERY is in northern Harford Co. When you arrive, there is no
place to park, per se, just woods, with car sized areas here and there,
and terraced hillsides arranged with a mind boggling array of plants.
They specialize in native plants, trees and wild flowers, the prices
can`t be beat. We wanted a nectar producing native tree, and were taken
on a whirlwind tour of the property as the owner pulled forth specimens
for us to examine, all the while giving nonstop information. We ended
up with a red Buckeye.
Anyways, there is nothing they don`t have or know. It`s a pleasure just
being there to meander through the lovely surroundings.

PUMPKIN PATCH
Also one of my favorite places, great selection of perennials, good
prices, great selection of outdoor ornamentals. On 213, several miles
North of Cecilton. I found this place in my travels, some birding
buddies turned me on to the former. Going back Thurs. for another
truckload!! Now if only I can train the dogs to stay out of the
flowers.
G`day eh, Leslie Fisher
