The bald eagle count is problematic. Due to a large
wintering roost and nesting pairs in the vicinity,
it is unclear how many are migrants, and this number
is likely to be adjusted downward.

Sharp-shins have finally started to come through in good numbers.
The two immature Goshawks were a treat, continuing what seems to be
a regular late-April occurrence. Over 3000 Blue Jays flew by on 5/3.
Passerine migration, especially swallows, is in full force.
