--UNS_gsauns2_2861720375 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Disposition: inline I spent yesterday morning at Little Bennett Park (northern Montgomery County) and found the following: White-eyed Vireo (numerous) Red-eyed Vireo Blue-winged Warbler (one heard) Parula Yellow (2) Black-throated Blue (4) Myrtle Prairie (numerous) Black-and-white (1) Redstart (2) Ovenbird (heard) L. Waterthrush (heard) Kentucky (several heard) Yellowthroat (numerous) Scarlet Tanager (2) Rose-breasted Grosbeak (2) Indigo Bunting (1) Baltimore Oriole (1) Brown Thrasher Tuesday evening I saw the large flock of Bobolinks (announced on the Voice of the Naturalist) in the field at the intersection of New Design Road and Greenfield Road (Frederick County). The field is large but the flock was in the southwest quadrant of the field near the intersection of a farm lane and New Design Road. I got good views without a scope by walking 150 feet up the farm lane. The field is hilly so that the flock can be hidden from view from certain parts of New Design Road. Several times I was treated to the beauty of this flock, mostly males, rising up and flying around the field. Nearby, several Bobolinks were observed from Oland Road in the field at the northeast corner of Route 85 and Oland Road (Oland Road has a broad paved shoulder for stopping). At Lilypons, two Greater Yellowlegs were seen from the highway. Happy birding, Dan Eberly --UNS_gsauns2_2861720375--
