Marcia Whitmyre & I , trying to give new meaning to the word intrepid, spent 17 hrs travelling Cecil Co. on Sat. in our quest to score 100 + birds on our BIG DAY. We were fortunate in that much could be done from the car, and that the rain quit @ opportune times, such as the 2 hrs we spent birding Courthouse Point on foot. This was a productive area for us, 64 species here. And yes, we did meet our objective, tallying up with 102 species for the day ( grin ). Several You Know You`re Fanatic..... My husband , who is becoming a birdwatcher in spite of himself, joined us for the wee hrs. to listen for owls etc in the State Forest. You Know You`re Fanatic......When you yell at your husband for hanging his head out the window, losing his hat, and costing more than 60 sec. time backing up to search for it!!! You Know You`re Fanatic..... When your brother & his wife are coming to visit next week, and all you can think about are the birds you`re going to miss while they`re here!!
