I think you are right about it being private property, but there is a gravel
parking lot right off Rt108 from which a scope can be set up without driving
down [what I'm sure is a private road]. I seldom venture further than that, as
it's usually not necessary, though the fishermen do not seem to care. I have
seen them all around the pond; when I stop there and see any fishermen nearby
I usually just keep going to bird elsewhere. The birds have all likely been
flushed by them anyway.
