This evening Andy Rabin and I stopped by the corner of Buckeystown Pike (Rt. 85) and Lilypons Road and were excited to find a Dickcissel singing on the phone wire about 100 yards East of the intersection on Rt. 85. After a few minutes the bird flew down and continued singing from the tops of the bushes. From our location we also could hear another calling further on up the road. This was a life-bird for both of us, and especially gratifying for me after missing the one so many people saw at Bombay Hook this weekend. Happy Birding to all! Roger Stone rogs@erols.com
