Hi Ralph,

If you're traveling from Calgary to Banff I suggest the Bow Valley Provincial Park
for trip out.  It's very birdy in June.  Great spot to practice flycatcher ID.  In
Banff National Park go to Fenland Trail and then Sunshine Meadows.  Both are good
for variety but expect tourists from mid morning.

Haven't been to Jasper National Park but I understand Cottonwood Slough is the
best spot near town and is a good place to see Barrow's goldeneye.  Good luck.
