Hi Kathy,

I've heard that you do a lot of bird banding. I'm interested in acquiring 
banding experience, and eventually becoming licensed. I've volunteered at the 
Jug Bay MAPS station, and I'm looking forward to spending more time there this 
summer. 

I'm also taking a banding course through IBP this summer; (with the help of 
grants from Montgomery County MOS/state funds) After I complete the course, I'd 
like to find a place where I can consistently apprentice for a while. 

Ultimately I'm looking towards reopening Adventure, hopefully as a MAPS station. 
However, I know I need to "earn my wings", so to speak, through lots of field/
banding experience first.

Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated!
