Yes, it's true: David Bridge was by this evening (Thur June 11) and after the adults exchanged nest duty at 7 pm and the youngsters were finished with their feeding frency, we watched them flap their wings (some primaries still partially in sheath) we noticed that we were viewing three on one side of the nest and two on the other! They look like they might still be on or around the nest about one more week before flying off, probably to begin crayfishing lessons with the adult out crayfishing. Now's the time to come see them before they're gone fishin'! Call either Pete or Carolyn Webb (410) 486-1217 or e-mail here at pwebb@bcpl.net to let us know when you'd like to come; I reccomend the 6:30 to 7:30 pm hour to catch all the action. The other times of day, they are likely to be snoozing and inactive as they were when Dave first got here at 6:15 pm today. At that time, one could see one or maybe two youngster's back(s) and the attending adult's crown, and nothing else. More reports as developments warrant. Pete pwebb@bcpl.net Baltimore, Md. (USA) -----
