One advantage to this, over the Duck Stamp, is that it gets you and everyone in your car into all national fee areas - parks, recreation areas, not just refuges. This is great for travelling. My pass more than pays for itself every year, if I figure the equivalent cost of day passes to all the places that I visit. To put the cost in perspective: one-day admission for one adult to an amusement park like Sea World, Disney World, etc. costs about $40 and up. Compared to this, the Golden Eagle is a bargain!
