MDO et al.:

For the past several weeks I have been seeing (sporadically) a Peregrine
Falcon near the crest of the Thomas Johnson bridge between Calvert and
St. Mary's counties. Again, this morning, 8/3, it was perched on the
center light pylon which straddles the 2 counties. I have seen it most
often in the early morning but have seen it as late as 10 a.m. perched
there or flying parallel to the bridge.

As an addendum, there was a Southern Maryland Audubon Society trip to
Pax River NAS on 8/1 where we had excellent looks at 28 Upland
Sandpipers on the airfield and Least, Common and Forster's Terns along
the coast.
