I went to the mud flats at the north end of Liberty Reservoir today to
look for migrating shorebirds. When I arrived, I met Bob Ringler and
Debbie Terry who had just gotten back to their car after discovering a
White Ibis in 1st Fall plumage.

Also at the flats are Great Blue, Green, and immature Little Blue Herons,
Killdeer, Solitary Sandpiper, a flock of Canada Geese, a female Wood Duck
with young, Turkey and Black Vulture, and Red-shouldered and Red-tailed
Hawks.
