Having been outsmarted by the Virginia Rail last Wednesday, I stalked him this morning and found him hiding on the east side of the Haupt Garden waterfall at 9:30 am. I use "him" without knowing if that is the proper gender. I do know that if I said anything about coy or flightless females, I would probably get in even more trouble.
