Hi Ralph -- I would suggest that your friend go to Rock Creek Park, in the
vicinity of the Nature Center as described in the revised edition of Claudia
Wild's book. At dawn, along the ridge, and then later near the riding stables,
nature center and maintenence yard, at that time of year, one can often see
20+ species of warblers on a day. Cape May W. is not that unusual.

Jim Stasz's suggestion of the mountain ridges is also good, we have had good
luck in fall along Fire Tower Road near THurmont in the Catoctins.
