Hurricane Net and MDOsprey:

Jane and I went down to Point Lookout, MD on 8/26 at about 5 p.m. The
humidity was oppressive and there was very little breeze. There were no
apparent hurricane-blown birds. There were several Royal Terns mixed in
with large numbers of Common and Forster's Terns sitting on the poles of
the fish trap near the marina. At the fishing trap near the old Duffy's,
there were more Common and Forster's Terns and one Black Tern. All of
these birds are to be expected at this time of year. We were a little
disappointed to not see any Sandwich Terns.

We will be visiting Pt. Lookout again after work today in hopes that
Bonnie will have moved further northward.
