Virginia Rail at the Smithsonian Institution

The Virginia Rail remains at the Enid Haupt garden behind the
Smithsonian Castle today, Monday August 31.  Last week it was
spending mornings near the ivy-covered outbuilding at the
northwest corner of the National Museum of African Art, afternoons
among the tall grasses near the waterfall.  This morning , the rail
was underneath the yews that line the sidewalk along Independence Avenue.
