A funny story ( short )

Several members of the Cecil Bird Club ( including myself ) who man the
Turkey Point Hawk Watch had magnetic BIRD SURVEY signs made for our
vehicles. As official counters, we have vehicle access to the park, and
had the signs made to counter harassment from the general public who
were unhappy that THEY had to walk!
As I drove home from errands this morning, I became aware of a van
beside me in the adjacent lane, and a woman in the passenger seat who
was smiling and waving. Being a friendly soul, I smiled and waved in
return. Then I noticed that she was waving a toy parrot in her hands,
and pointing at the sign. Needless to say, I had a good laugh, and
added one toy parrot to the mornings excursion!!
