Ospreyers:

FYI, Beauvue Ponds can be found on page 30:C2 of the DeLorme Atlas of MD
and DE. Take Rt 244 south from Rt. 5 east of Leonardtown. Turn right
onto Breton Beach Rd then right onto Abell's Wharf Rd. The ponds are
visible from Abell's Wharf Rd. There's no shoulder but generally, there
isn't much traffic except the occasional dump truck coming or going from
Maryland Rock gravel company.

The large pond is great for waterfowl in the winter and the grassy field
opposite the ponds often has Northern Harrier, Short-eared Owl and
somtimes Rough-legged Hawk in the winter. If you drive to the end of
Abell's Wharf Rd. there is a small park where you can scope Breton Bay
for more waterfowl.
