Subject: possible Eurasian Collared-dove at Havre De Grace

While stopping off briefly in Havre De Grace, MD last Sunday
morning (9/13/98), Lorna and I sighted a bird that we at the
time ID'd as a Eurasian Collared-dove. We're from Washington
state so at the time did not know that these are yet rare
(unknown?) birds in Maryland.

The bird was sitting on a line near the lighthouse. We
didn't take any field notes at the time, so I won't
embarrass ourselves with our faulty recollection. I'm
just posting this note just in case it is a Eurasian
Collared-dove and it might still be in the vicinity.
