Greg:

Don't retract your soapbox message. Jane and I ran into some rather
offensive New York birders when we chased the sandpiper. It would be
poetic justice for them to come to Maryland if/when we get something
really smoking hot and give them the cold shoulder. Look at the reaction
Bill Benner got when he announced his find on Thursday way back when.
Since they didn't recognize him, the bird wasn't real. Jerks!
