I'm a Gifted and Talented Resource teacher at Running Brook
Elementary in
Columbia, MD. I have a few groups of children who are
interested in doing
some research about some of the endangered/at risk birds.
we are working
on focusing kids on local species ( think globally, act locally)
rather
than the traditional "dolphin/tiger/coyote" projects. We're
looking for
some contact people to help with information and suggestions
as to what
kids can _do_ to help specific species- most likely the
peregrine falcon,
but no definite decisions have been made as yet.

Any info you could provide would be great- even contacts the
kids could
send mail/e-mail to would be great.
