And so it begins.......

Spotted a male American Wigeon yesterday.  He was mingling with the =
Mallards, Wood Ducks and Canadas near one of jetties on the =
"residential" side of the park.  For those of you who know the area, if =
you're standing on the paved path, there's a near-side jetty on the =
right and a far-side jetty on the left.  This group of ducks was on the =
left side of the far-side jetty.  By the way, there were three =
Red-headed Woodpeckers working away in their resident snags further on =
down.  Usually I only find two of them.  And for a change, there were no =
@#$^&# Starlings!
