Jo Solem, Mary Jo Betts and I birded Mt. Pleasant (Woodstock, MD-Howard
county) this morning. Sparrows were in fair numbers SONG(120)
WHITE-THROAT(40) FIELD (80) SWAMP (20) WHITE-CROWN (14) CHIPPING (16)
SAVANNAH (16) LINCOLN'S (1).
The other highlights were a MARSH WREN that gave us quite a show
skulking around in a wet patch of sedges. EASTERN PHOEBES (6) BLUEBIRDS
(20) PALM and RUMPS in good numbers, CATBIRDS (3) TOWHEE (2) JUNCOS (16)
