Sparrows at Layhill Park 10/24

We went out to check for sparrows at Layhill Park, Mont. Co., MD -- numbers
were fairly good with highlights being about 20 White-crowned Sparrows and
3 Lincoln's Sparrows; very high numbers of Songs, White-throats and a fair
number of Fields, Chipping and Juncoes. Also seen were 6 Palm Warblers (all
yellow ssp.), one Yellowthroat, a late House Wren and 2-3 Phoebes, as well
as large numbers of Jays, Robins and Bluebirds passing overhead.
