While posting the Harris' Sparrow photo yesterday I ran across an old photo I though some of you might be interested in seeing. Back in 1992, when I'd been birding about two years I snapped a sunrise with one of my first cameras. It's of an area across from my home where I used to walk and look for birds. I have the memory of seeing my first Northern Bobwhite there, a bird that's not on my "Howard County Year List" this year. I can never hope for another sunrise like this because the area has been turned into a shopping center. Anyway, it still stands out as one of the most striking photos I've ever taken. Enjoy.
