Hi All --
We looked at our local sparrow spot today, in Layhill Park (east side). One
of the first birds was an immature Northern Harrier quartering over the field.
Most of sparrow types were "Slate-colored" Juncoes (approximately 150),plus
Chipping Sparrows (20), Song (15), White-crowned (3), White-throat (20),
VESPER (1, lovely fresh adult), Swamp (2). Also seen. Palm Warbler (yellow),
(2-3), Rusty Blackbird (2), a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets, lots of Bluebirds
and Robins.

Also a talented Mocker who gave us Killdeer, Phoebe, Blue Jay and other
"heard birds" for the list(ha ha).
