Birds seen in Carroll County on Sunday, November 1:

At home - 1 Chipping Sparrow still hanging around.

At Liberty Lake:  2 Great Blue Herons, 96 Canada Geese, 4 Mallards, 39 
Killdeer, 2 Snipe, 21 Ring-billed Gulls.  In the watershed off Murray Rd 
- 4 Hermit Thrushes, 1 Brown Creeper, many Golden-crowned Kinglets.

At Deer Park Rd farm pond - 52 Black Ducks.

At Morgan Run - I was there between 11 and 12, so no ravens then, but 1 
Fox Sparrow.

At Piney Run - 13 Pied-billed Grebes, 2 Great Blue Herons, 1000 Canada 
Geese, 6 probable Graylag X Canada Goose hybrids in 6 different plumages 
(these are migrants, not local birds), 3 Wood Ducks, 4 Gadwall, 3 Wigeon, 
26 Black Ducks, 75 Mallards, 1 Canvasback, 1 Redhead, 65 Ring-necked 
Ducks, 1 Lesser Scaup, 5 Buffleheads, 16 Hooded Mergansers, 62 Ruddy 
Ducks, 250 Coots, 7 Killdeer, and 2 Snipe.
